Thanks to a brace from Gianluca Scamacca, Genoa defeated Parma 2-1.
At the Ennio Tardini, Scamacca came off the bench at half-time, to replace Eldor Shomurodov.
And it was him who turned the game around with a brace, securing three points for Davide Ballardini.
Actually, Graziano Pellè’s spectacular overhead kick had given Parma the lead after 16 minutes.
Indeed, Parma looked like they were on their way to secure another three points, so as to put pressure on their relegation rivals in Serie A.
Parma’s winless streak finally ended against Roma last time out. Meanwhile, Genoa, who started well under Ballardini, have sunk in recent weeks.
