Bayern Munich midfielder Kai Havertz will demand that he be released to Chelsea, reported journalist Christian Falk.
In the 2019-20 season, Havertz scored 17 goals and made nine assists in 43 games for Bayern in all tournaments. Bayern became fifth and next season will play only in the Europa League.
After the resumption of training the team, though, Havertz will meet with the club management.
British journalist David Ornstein from The Athletic reported that the clubs almost agreed on a transfer between clubs. Chelsea will pay about 80 million euros, taking into account bonuses.
