According to study, Davies has a thigh muscle tear. That means the left wing defender will miss the final games before the winter break, but his participation at the World Cup in Qatar is safe.

That was beyond Hertha’s strength. After scores by Dodi Lukebakio and Davie Selke (both from penalties), the home team rested in an entirely different mindset (2-3). Bayern thought to have closed the difference to two immediately after the break, but VAR ruled that an own goal by Agustin Rogel was not allowed. With the win, Bayern moves ahead of leader Union Berlin.
The Bavarians will welcome Werder Bremen and will travel to Schalke for league fixtures before the World Cup break. The Berliners meanwhile, will face Stuttgart and Cologne in away and home games respectively.
