Juventus has decided to recruit Arthur for a £72.5 m (€80 m) deal from Barcelona, reports.
They have even offered higher wages for the 23-year-old than his current Barca deal. That offer is worth £4.5 m (€5 m) a year, according to Sky Italy.
Arthur is due to play against Athletic Bilbao tonight for Barca.
Indeed, Sky Sports News has been informed that his intention remains to stay at Camp Nou and fight for his position.
While it was just last month that the Brazilian midfielder told both clubs he didn’t want to play, the Italians still hope to persuade him.
Maurizio Sarri wants to build his midfield around him in a manner similar to Jorginho’s in Napoli and Chelsea.
The two clubs are said to want to complete the transfer before June 30.
However, this date has been denied by Juve sporting director Fabio Paritici. He also publicly admitted that player still needs to be convinced.
