Juventus loanee Kulusevski joined the Serie A club for a fee of €35 million. It would rise to €44 million with variables in 2020. However, the Swede fell down the pecking order under Allegri and managed just 74 appearances.
On the transfer deadline of the winter window, this year, Dejan was loaned to Tottenham for 18 months. The deal included an option for purchase. However, it would turn to an obligation if a few conditions are met for €35 million.
Juventus loanee Kulusevski, while still contracted to the Bianconeri, has decided to dig at the club’s boss Allegri. In a recent interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, he was full of praise for Spurs boss Conte. However, it came at the expense of Allegri.
Kulusevski said: “I haven’t changed in the past several months; I always went into the game with the intention of giving my all. However, beyond what I attempted, it didn’t work at Juve. I didn’t feel fantastic while I was at Juventus for a variety of reasons. And when you notice that things are not going well, it is challenging to change directions while still in the same setting. The finest decision I could have made in that circumstance was to depart from Italy.
“Things have worked for me way better in London than Italy. Conte’s work with me was crucial. I adore the way we train in London, and our coach deserves all the credit. I’m overjoyed to be playing for him.
“Honestly, yes (when asked if there is so much difference between Conte and Allegri).”
