Dejan Kulusevski, a Juventus midfielder, has assessed the team’s performance in the 2020/21 season at a press conference.
Juve are now fourth in Serie A, 10 points behind top seed Inter Milan.
They also crashed out of the Champions League in the last eight after losing 1-2, 3-2 to Porto.
And the Juventus midfielder assessed the team’s performance: “It’s a disappointing season.”
“We should always start the season aiming for the title. It’s not easy to move to Juventus at the age of 20. Everything has been new for me. I have some difficulties, but I am progressing even if it takes some time,” he elaborated.
“There were a lot of changes and I am not used to that. I have changed my role many times, but I feel I am close to the game I want to show. We have to play better and show better results.”
“Juventus is not the atmosphere I would like to see. There are difficult days, but it is precisely at such moments that real champions are born. We have to work harder. Each of us needs to get better,” he added.
On the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he’s previously praised, he said: “We can’t concentrate on that. We’ll see what happens.”
He also addressed the fight in the Juventus dressing room after the game against Benevento (0-1).
“I didn’t notice anything like that,” he said.
