Juventus’ Alex Sandro confirmed that they “still concentrate on winning the Scudetto” and that they will “try to win all” of their remaining games this season.
“We will try to do our best and we will work to win all the games,” Alex Sandro told Sky Sport Italia. “It has been our goal since the beginning of the season and our mentality has not changed.
“We always focus on winning the League. There are still many games and we must be good at winning them all, in addition to the Coppa Italia.”
Juventus were eliminated from the Champions League this week.
So, their only contribution will be in Serie A before the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta in May.
The Bianconeri face Cagliari on Sunday, and although they are still 10 points behind Inter, they have one game in hand.
With it, they hope to give the Nerazzurri a real fight for the title.
The wing-back conceded that the Old Lady didn’t approach the Champions League match against FC Porto in the right way and admitted the Bianconeri ‘need to improve’.
“We were disappointed with the elimination and the biggest mistake was how we approached the match,” Sandro added.
“Even in the first leg, we started badly both in the first and the second half. It’s precisely in those moments when the game seems easy that we need to improve.
“You can concede goals even when it doesn’t seem to be dangerous, and this can lead to defeat. We have to think that every ball is important, and every action can change the game and our season.
“In this sense, we need to improve.”
