Jurgen Klopp expects Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson to be completely prepared to play at Anfield on Wednesday. Liverpool will engage in a Premier League fight with Crystal Palace.
Speaking exclusively for the new Match Centre, Klopp said to: “There are various reasons for the line-up.
“It’s a very nice moment and we can’t forget that we’re starting again on Wednesday in this period, following four weeks’ pre-season and training. I just can’t. It’s not the season’s last game and I have to worry about things a little bit.”
Klopp even shared details of their training and preparations for resuming play on the pitch:
“Over the last week several players were unable to practice – they trained but not with the squad – like Mo and Robbo, but they were in training yesterday and they all looked pretty good. That’s why Mo is in the team, not Robbo yet but he’ll be back on Wednesday.
“It was easier for Robbo to have a good session today and then be in for Wednesday, then for Mo to do something like this is the best thing.”
