Liverpool won the home game against Fulham with a goal from Salah. The game in the Premier League ended 1-0. Liverpool took the lead in the 39th minute through Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly.
Struggling Liverpool mercilessly punish clumsy defenses
Although the chance seems small, Liverpool is aiming for a place in the Champions League in the final phase of the competition. To do this, it must make up a gap of four points with number four Manchester United, which also has a game credit. Fulham is already out of relegation worries with 45 points from 34 games.
Fulham did not hide at Anfield. In fact, it created the necessary danger and regularly got Liverpool into trouble, with Virgil van Dijk in the base. For example, Van Dijk had to save early in the game with a bet from Harry Wilson, after which goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to intervene with a shot from Carlos Vinícius.

Second half
Liverpool had plenty of chances to close the game early in the second half. But let Fulham live and the visitors could hope for more than defeat. Antonee Robinson came closest on behalf of Fulham. As often this season, efficiency was lacking at Liverpool. Who were not dangerous enough up front to force Fulham to their knees. In the final phase, the visitors gave some extra gas to drag a point out of the fire, but Liverpool survived the London final offensive.
Liverpool are now unbeaten in five games in a row and have also won five in a row. With four rounds to go, Liverpool are fifth in the table while Fulham are tenth. In the next game, Liverpool will play at home against Brentford on Saturday 6 May. Fulham will receive Leicester City on Monday, May 8.
