Liverpool is willing to sell Dejan Lovren this summer.
Zenit St. Petersburg is among the clubs involved in recruiting the Croatian player, reports.
Lovren has been with the Reds since 2014 but is looking for regular first-team football. If Lovren leaves, it would leave Liverpool short on choices for centre-back.
Nonetheless, reports in Russia have indicated that Lovren could be available as a free agent even though he has a year left to operate on his Reds deal.
Liverpool is aware of competition from a variety of clubs, with Zenit considered to be especially strong.
Roma are another team to have been linked, having attempted to sign him on loan last year, although the last six months have also seen requests from at least two Premier League clubs.
