Mauricio Pochettino said that his dream would be to manage Real Madrid one day.
“I don’t know if I’ll actually coach Madrid at all, but it’s my dream, of course. If it’s not the biggest, it’s one of the world’s best clubs. I’m no different. Everyone has that on their wishlist,” he told Marca.
Argentine boss Pochettino left Tottenham last November. And after the sacking of Quique Setien, Pochettino was linked with Barca.
But this was until the embattled Spanish giants opted for Ronald Koeman after a 2019-20 trophyless campaign.
Pochettino was now asked about the rumors about Barca. And the former Tottenham manager maintained that he had not received an offer to coach Barcelona’s La Liga giants:
“They gave me no offer to coach Barca. I can’t see myself with Josep Maria Bartomeu. I’ve been dining with Ramon Planes as we’ve been friends for many years since he signed for Espanyol in 2009.”
