Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand, the Arsenal midfielder has joined Hull City on a season-long loan. The Dutch midfielder came through the Feyenoord youth academy. The 19-year-old made 18 appearances for Arsenal U21 last season in the Premier League 2.
The Tigers announced: “Hull City are delighted to announce the loan signing of attacking midfielder Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand until the end of the season.
“The 19-year-old joins from Premier League side Arsenal on a season-long loan deal, with the option to make the move permanent.
“Operating primarily in the middle of the park, the 19-year-old began his youth career at Feyenoord, representing their Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 sides.
“Joining Arsenal’s academy in 2020, Oulad M’Hand featured for Arsenal’s Under-23 side in the EFL Trophy Group B fixture against Ipswich Town, playing 65 minutes in a 2-1 victory.
“Missing the majority of the 2020/21 season due to a fatigue fracture. Last season saw the versatile midfielder produce an impressive season.
“Scoring five goals in 16 appearances in the Premier League 2, including netting four goals in five fixtures, the 19-year-old also made five appearances in the EFL Trophy.
“Helping the Gunners reach the quarter-finals of the competition. Oulad M’Hand’s star performance came in a 4-3 away victory over Newport County. In the group stages, netting one and assisting one.
“He was also on the first-team’s bench nine times last season in the Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup.
“Internationally, Oulad M’Hand has dual nationality between Holland and Morocco. Featuring under current Hull City assistant manager Peter Van der Veen. At Holland Under-15s in a 3-2 victory over England. The midfielder has one cap at Under-17s level, playing against USA in November 2019.”
