Seko Fofana has signed a contract extension with RC Lens. Fofana who is the captain of the club has signed a three year extension. This should keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.
The midfielder joined Pas-de-Calais club a couple of seasons back. Since then he has 77 appearances and managed to score 14 goals.
The 27-year old brings along 254 matches worth of league experience across three nations. In addition to that he has also been capped by Ivory Coast six times.
The Blood and Gold announced, ‘The captain stays on board! At Racing since 2020, Seko Fofana is back for another season under the blood and gold flag. An agreement symbolically signed in the central circle of a sold-out Bollaert stadium, proof of a bond of trust between a club and a player who is totally fulfilled on and off the pitch. In full force of age (27 years old), the Ivorian international midfielder puts his mark even more in the history of Racing Club de Lens.’
