Barcelona’s head coach Quique Setien is counting on Arthur Melo for the rest of the season and has also been talking to the midfielder about his future.
Arthur himself has already declared his intention to remain back in April with Barcelona.
Nonetheless, he has recently been proposed as a potential option for Inter.
Setien declined to discuss these rumors about the long-term future of the 23-year-old at Camp Nou, but instead made it clear that he remains part of his plans before returning to the action of La Liga.
“It’s true we’ve talked about something, but not too much,” Setien told reporters at his pre-match media conference on Friday when asked about Arthur. “I prefer not to speak out about the rumors. As for the team, I’m sure that I rely on all those who are already in the squad and I need everyone because there will be a number of games.”
He said, “The current circumstances vary from the usual circumstances, and will affect the market.”
