Thomas Letsch, the newly appointed VfL Bochum is optimistic to keep his new club up in the top flight. The club at the time of writing has suffered six losses in seven games. And has managed just a point this season.
As a result the club got rid of their existing manager, to bring Thomas Letsch from Vitesse. In his presentation, the German insisted he would survive relegation with Bochum.
“The goal right now is to maintain VfL in the Bundesliga. Only seven games have been played, but I’m confident that we can succeed as a team,” stated the 54-year-old at his presentation.
“However, it is now crucial to return gradually and then maybe make modifications once more in the winter, ” Letsch, who arrived from Vitesse Arnhem of the Dutch first division, remarked. “Bochum is bottom of the table with just one point after seven games; there are presently four points separating them and last place.”
Letsch, who signed a two-year deal with the second division club, stated, “I’m well aware of the table situation.” But occasionally, all it takes is a tiny step. Against the ball, we need a clear structure, compactness, and organisation.”
