Trabzonspor midfielder Marek Hamsik will play two more games and then put an end to his career. It led him past Brescia, Napoli, the Chinese Dalian, IFK Göteborg and Trabzonspor.

For the latter club, number six in the Turkish Süper Lig, two more games await, at home against Alanyaspor and away at Istanbul Başakşehir. This season, Hamsik played 22 league matches for Trabzonspor, in which he was accurate twice and provided an assist once.
“It’s not an easy decision, but it’s been a wonderful adventure,” Slovakia’s record international announced at a press conference.
From 2007 to 2019, the midfielder caused a furore at Napoli. After Dries Mertens (148) and Lorenzo Insigne (122), Hamsik scored the most goals ever for the brand new national champion of Italy.
