Augusta National Women’s Amateur: Watch all three rounds of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, which concludes on Saturday before The Masters at Augusta National. The defending champion is Anna Davis, and amateur No. 1 Rose Zhang competes.
This week’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur provides the opportunity for the female game’s rising talents to put themselves to the test.
The event will include all 10 of the top amateur golfers in the world, including the defending champion Anna Davis and amateur No. 1 Rose Zhang. The current Women’s Amateur Champion Jess Baker will lead a six-player British team.
The Curtis Cup competitors from Great Britain and Ireland are Charlotte Heath, Caley McGinty, and Hannah Darling. Ingrid Lindblad of Sweden will attempt to improve on her top-three finishes from the previous two competitions.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the opening 36 holes are played at Champions Retreat Golf Club’s Island and Bluff nines, then on Friday, the entire field gets to play a practise round at Augusta National.
The final round, which again takes place at Augusta National and on the same course as The Masters the following week, is limited to the top 30 finishers and ties from the first two days.
Jennifer Kupcho, a future major champion, won the inaugural tournament in 2019. However, the competition was postponed a year later owing to the Covid-19 epidemic, and Tsubasa Kajitani of Japan ultimately prevailed in a play-off in 2021.
After winning by a single shot in the previous year’s competition, Davis set a new record for the tournament’s youngest champion. This week, the 17-year-old is back as the defending champion and will compete in an international field.
The competition kicks off a 12-day stretch that will include coverage of the Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour, which is the last chance to qualify for The Masters, as well as the weekend of the LA Open on the LPGA Tour.
