Ashes Test: The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the locations for the five Tests to be played during India’s trip to England in 2025 on Wednesday, June 14. The two sides will face off in five Tests at Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Headingley, and Old Trafford during the tour. The Board also confirmed the locations for the next two Ashes matches to be played in the UK, as well as other significant allocations from 2025 to 2031.
The next Ashes Test in the UK will be contested in 2027 at Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, and The Ageas Bowl, which will host its first-ever Ashes Test.
According to Cricbuzz, the England women’s team also has a busy schedule coming up, as they will face Australia in a one-off Test match at Headingley as part of a multi-format series in 2027.
Australia will play Lord’s, The Oval, Emirates Old Trafford, Headingley, and Trent Bridge in the 2031 Ashes series. The Women’s Multi-format Series will include a Test match at The Ageas Bowl. India will return in 2029 for a five-match Test series that will be contested at Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, Old Trafford, and The Ageas Bowl.

The ECB also stated that the England Women’s team would play their matches at Lord’s every year beginning in 2025-31. Edgbaston will also host the T20 Blast Finals Day.
“For the first time, we are announcing long-term allocations for both men’s and women’s international matches.” “We have seen a huge growth in attendance for Women’s matches in recent years, with this year’s Women’s Ashes smashing previous records, and we want to build on this in the years ahead,” ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould was cited as saying by Cricbuzz.
“By announcing arrangements for the next seven years, we are also providing long-term certainty to venues, allowing them to invest sustainably in stadium improvements and improved fan experiences,” he said.
