IND vs SL: In the third and final ODI of the just-ended series, India defeated Sri Lanka by 317 runs.
In response to the cricket team’s humiliating 317-run loss to India in the third and final One Day International at the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Trivandrum, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has asked the manager of the national team to submit a report.
Only three of the Lankans’ batters managed double-digit scores as they were bowled out for just 73 runs in the 22nd over while chasing a daunting 391-run goal. In the meantime, this is the most run-wise victory in ODI history for a side.
IND vs SL: Following the enormous loss suffered by the national squad, the SLC released the following statement.
The announcement was made by Sri Lanka Cricket via an official media release. “The report shall contain of views of the Captain, the Head Coach, the Selection Panel, and also the Team Manager for the loss,” it stated.
The announcement further stated that “SLC has ordered the Team Manager submit the ‘Report’ within a 5-day window.”
According to the release, “The report will allow Sri Lanka Cricket to evaluate and comprehend the context of the team’s appalling performances during the final ODI, which it lost by 317 runs after being bowled out in 22 overs.”
