One of the six international players named in the draught was Finch. Moreover, he was the first captain to be named. The 36-year-old will be in charge of the Unicorns and will try to win the coveted trophy.
The six-team league would be played from July 13 through July 30, 2023, in a single round-robin format. Texas is anticipated to serve as the tournament’s primary location, partly because the other cities lack enough wickets.
Liam Plunkett, who is from England, is qualified to compete in the event as a domestic player because his wife is American. Quinton De Kock and Mitchell Marsh, who will play with Seattle Orcas, are more international athletes. The DC Washington Freedom chose Wanindu Hasaranga and Anrich Nortje in contrast.
