Manchester City announced on Tuesday that Sergio Aguero will be heading to Barcelona for a specialist test on his left knee.
Taking to Twitter after City’s diagnosis, the 32-year-old wrote: “The tests I did this morning have shown that I have injured my left knee. It’s a pity but I’m in good spirits and I’m so focused on coming back as quickly as possible. Thank you for all the comments!”
In fact, it has been confirmed that Aguero will be examined by the specialist Dr Ramon Cugat, with the seriousness of the condition currently unknown.
So, there is a chance that, for the player, the 2019-20 season could already be over.
