Post match reaction
Barnsley coach Michael Duff: “I didn’t think we were brilliant today. We knew we might suffer without the ball at times.
“I don’t really remember Jack [Walton] having a lot of saves to make. I thought we were really clinical as well.”
“We want to push high up the pitch. The front three have changed – normally we would press with the wing-backs and the front three. Two or three of them changed today. We couldn’t quite figure it out; they basically played through us too much.
“So we shortened the distance between the center forwards and center halves, denied space for them to play in and that helped.”
