However, Ronaldo had to cope with the displeasure of the Orobici fans at the end of the game. These uncouth fans threw whistles and insults at him, for scoring against them, as he talked in his post-match interview.

Ronaldo even had to ask journalists to repeat their questions because the fans were so noisy, per Corriere dello Sport.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the 36-year-old Portuguese superstar finished the interview and promptly returned to the dressing area. He was clearly irritated by the whistles.
After this match, in Group F, Manchester United and Villarreal are equal on seven points. Meanwhile, Atalanta is two points behind the leaders and now have to necessarily win to qualify for the knockout stages.
