As a free agent Eden Hazard can look for a new employer, clubs from America and Belgium have now reported to the player whose contract with Real Madrid was dissolved.
Hazard gets a choice: play with Messi or play with brother
In recent seasons, future employers will offer little hope, but according to Relevo, two clubs have signed up to offer Hazard a new adventure. According to the Spanish medium, Inter Miami is interested in linking the Belgian to Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets. Hazard himself indicated that he wanted to continue for a few more years.
Hazard also gets the chance to play professional football in Belgium for the first time. The attacker left for Lille’s youth academy at a young age and ended up at Real Madrid after a successful period in London with Chelsea. The newly promoted RWD Molenbeek is interested in Hazard and just let his younger brother Kylian play football there too.
With six goals in the promotion play-offs, Kylian Hazard played an important role for RWD Molenbeek, which may be rewarded with a reunion with his five-year older brother. The two never played together, but were under contract with Lille and Chelsea together.
Roger Schmidt brings Di María back to Benfica
Ángel Di María makes the switch to Benfica. The Argentinian was out of his contract with Juventus and therefore enjoyed a transfer-free status.
After a season at Juventus, Di María called it quits at the Old Lady. The midfielder annex winger has an impressive list of clubs behind his name. After his breakthrough in Europe at Benfica, he ended up at Juventus via Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. Now he returns to the old nest in Lisbon.
Di María signs a one-year contract in Portugal. Last season, the 35-year-old Argentinian played 26 league games for Juventus, fifteen of which as a starting line up player. In the course of the season he scored four goals and further contributed to four assists.
With national champion Benfica, the 132-time international of Argentina will enter the Champions League next season. Di María will be a teammate of compatriot Nicolás Otamendi at Benfica.
