Spain’s Marca writes in today’s edition that the new Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman already feels betrayed by the club’s management.
Namely, Koeman started confiding in his closest friends about the problems he has been encountering since he arrived at the club.
Firstly, Koeman did not make all the decisions related to the transfer policy on his own, but president Josep Maria Bartomeu and his subordinates are still silent, making Koeman responsible for the transfers.
And even after all this responsibility taken, the new coach feels that the president and directors of the club did not stand in his defense in front of a team that did not accept such decisions as the best.
For Barcelona, the season starts with Sunday’s game against Villarreal at home, and although Koeman radiates optimism to the outside, he is quite gloomy and worried inside.
This is because the Dutch expert recently took on the role of coach, but also sports director, and took responsibility for the departures of Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic.
