Kyle Walker Discusses England’s Euro 2020 Final Challenge
In light of all this, England right-back Kyle Walker has commented on what it means for his national team to qualify into the finals.
“I think when you put on an England shirt, definitely in the past four years, it means something now,” he said, according to the BT Sport.
“It means something, we have created history,” he elaborated. “I have heard a lot of people talking about how England haven’t won a knockout game, England hasn’t won a penalty shoot-out, England hasn’t got this, England hasn’t got that.”
He added: “This group of lads, with the manager and the coaching staff, we just keep knocking them down and hopefully we have set the bar now for the future youngsters that are coming through – this is what our country wants and expects of us.”
So, Walker declares the current Three Lions’ squad to likely be the best football team to come out of England.
