Henrikh Mkhitaryan, an Arsenal loanee, admitted that he wishes to stay in Roma for a few more years.
“Of course, I’d like to be at Roma next season, not just this season [but] for a few of years.” Mkhitaryan told on thewith Grant Wahl.
At the same time, however, he also said that he would be “ready to play” if Mikel Arteta called him back to the Emirate Stadium:
“But I have a deal with Arsenal so it’s not up to me. It’s up to the Arsenal and the Roma if they decide about conditions regarding transfer fee.”
He stated, “Of course, if I don’t stay at Roma, I have to go back to Arsenal. I don’t complain, so the football life changes so quickly that you have to be ready to play wherever you are.”
