In an interview with the French outlet GQ, Paul Pogba made an appearance. He opened up about his difficult personal condition and his impending return to Juventus. The midfielder has been battling a blackmail issue with his brother Mathias Pogba while dealing with a months-long injury.
The Frenchman, 29, hurt his knee while getting ready for the season. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Pogba will return to Juventus, the team he left for Manchester United last summer, at the end of October. “The timing was right to return. It’s no mystery why my three years in Manchester didn’t go as planned,” he revealed.
According to Pogba, the criticism he has frequently faced in recent years has made him cynical. As an athlete who began competing at a top level at an early age, I am accustomed to handling criticism because it is a necessary part of the sport. Nonetheless, Turin is my home, and I have never had any doubts about it.
Paul Pogba did not want to go into too much detail about his personal situation, which involves a protracted blackmail dispute with his brother Mathias, who has recently been in the spotlight due to crime. Mathias accused Pogba, among other things, of engaging in witchcraft and casting curses against Kylian Mbappé.
He alludes to the situation in a discussion with GQ. “I’m an optimistic guy, and I understand how to handle rumours,” Pogba stated.
