Igor Tudor and Andrea Pirlo will join forces in the dugout at Allianz Stadium in Juventus.
Not having playing alongside each other during their respective playing stints at Juve, the pair will be returning to Juve now in management roles.
Former Udinese boss Tudor will assist Pirlo as he launches his career as Juventus’ head coach next season.
Pirlo was a surprise appointment after Serie A champions Juve dispensed with Maurizio Sarri, following their elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Lyon in August.
Meanwhile, former defender Tudor, 42, has coaching experience in Series A before returning to Hajduk Split this year, having led Udinese in two separate spells.
But now, Tudor has left his position as head coach of Hajduk to work at Juventus as an assistant to Andrea Pirlo, the Croatian club announced on Friday.
A statement released by Hajduk read: “Igor Tudor is no longer Hajduk’s coach after he has decided to accept new Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo’s offer to join him as an assistant in Italy. We wish great luck and success for coach Tudor in his future career.”
