The son of Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 19-year-old winger joined the Spurs academy in 2017 and has yet to make a first-team appearance. He is accompanied by his father, the former Spurs boss in his announcement.
He has posted a picture of him onwith a pen and what appears to be a contract. The image was posted next to the message: “Looking forwards to the new season (sic). Cows”
The retained lists published last week by the Premier League also show that Tottenham has offered the player a new deal.
Pochettino senior joined Spurs in 2014 but, across his five years there, he failed to win any silverware. He reached the 2015 League Cup finals, and the 2019 Champions League but lost on both occasions.
Then, Mauricio lost his job at the north London club at the start of the 2019/20 campaign following a poor run of form.
Last November, after five years in charge, Pochettino was relieved of his duties by the club, when Jose Mourinho came in to replace him.
Pochettino’s other son, Sebastiano, was working at the club as a first-team conditioning coach but left when Jose Mourinho had sacked his father and replaced him.
