When Milan did finally get him, Brahim Diaz secured four goals and two assists in 11 games across all competitions.

Already, Diaz is preparing to officially stay on loan with Milan until the summer of 2023.
Real Madrid Have No Real Plans to Recall Brahim Diaz
Though Milan considering to use the option to buy Brahim Diaz on a permanent basis, some contradictory reports have surfaced. These rumours say that Real Madrid could recall the 22-year-old due to his impressive record.
According to Marca, Carlo Ancelotti does not want to cancel Diaz’s contract with the Rossoneri this winter. In fact, Real are ‘cool and unhurried’ about the situation, but do seem to want their player back eventually.
Real will review the matter thoroughly after they complete this new 2021-22 season.
In favour of their plans for Diaz, they do have a buy-back mechanism in place, according to the article. Should Diaz eventually join Milan on a permanent basis, Real can call the player back to Santiago Bernabeu.
Diaz’s current contract with Los Blancos is going to end in 2025. And he has two goals and three assists in 21 appearances for the club.
