Serie A Football News – Milan and Roma Each Win with 4 Goals
It was quite an interesting first half as Stefano Pioli’s team scored all four goals in the first 45 minutes.
Milan secured an opener 12 minutes after the starting whistle, via Tonali. However, the guests restored the parity just 3 minutes afterwards.
But, in another quick twist of events, the Rossoneri managed to score another goals just 5 minutes later for 2-1.
And then, former Chelsea star Olivier Giroud scored goals 3 and 4, his brace bringing Milan to 4-1.
Giroud first fired the ball into the top left corner and then converted a penalty 18 minutes later. This left no chance for the opponent to retaliate and equalize.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Jose Mourinho’s men smashed the Serie A newcomers from the South of Italy.
Tammy Abraham scored his debut goal for the Roman club, in the 69th minute.
Lorenzo Pellegrini and Jordan Veretout also contributed to this 4-0 victory over Salernitana.
So, Roma gained another 3 points to their asset, away at the Arechi stadium. Watch, rather than read, the match highlights.
