Meanwhile, Euro 2020 champions Italy, after their initial draw with Bulgaria, drew again in Group C, this time with Switzerland. Kosovo and Greece played another tie, last night, drawing 1-1 in Group B.

Firstly, in Group B, the two-time European champions, Spain, gained a 4-0 victory over Georgia. They thus made a rehabilitating comeback from their 0-2 defeat in Sweden last Thursday.
Moving on to Group C, most surprisingly, the Italian Euro 2020 title-winning squad failed to score in their second match. Instead, they ended up in a goalless draw with Switzerland.
Regardless, they have set another record as Roberto Mancini’s men avoided the defeat for a 36th consecutive game. While last time they held a joint record, Italy have now surpassed Brazil and Spain with a 35-games unbeaten streak.
