Boxing News: Joe Joyce claims that if Anthony Joshua’s battle with Tyson Fury is postponed, he would be more than willing to face him in December.
The camps of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have been in discussions about a mega-heavyweight clash, with December 3 as a potential date, but no agreement has been reached.
The New Zealander was stopped by Joyce in the 11th round of their thrilling fight last weekend in Manchester, making him the first boxer to defeat Joseph Parker. Joyce then challenged Joshua on Twitter.
The 37-year-old declared that a bout with Fury on December 3 would be “tight for me,” but later that month, he would be willing to take on Joshua since it would be “an easy fight to make.”
If Fury and AJ aren’t fighting then I’ll step in. December 3rd is tight for me @Tyson_Fury, but @EddieHearn you can give your new best mate @frankwarren_tv a call and I’ll take the 17th slot with AJ.
Easy fight to make!

If Joshua vs. Joyce takes place, Fury may fight Andy Ruiz Jr. on December 3. Ruiz Jr., who was mentioned by Fury’s father John, said that the fight “would be a tremendous battle for boxing.”
The American, who defeated Joshua in their first meeting in June 2019 before dropping the rematch later that same year, was last in action on September 4 when he defeated Luis Ortiz by a majority decision. He was previously the unified heavyweight champion.
After stating that he thought it was “doubtful” that Anthony Joshua will fight his son Tyson this year, John Fury went on to suggest Ruiz Jr., Ortiz, and Filip Hrgovic as possible rivals.
Ruiz expressed his desire to set up that meeting on social media.
