Former UFC Champion: Tyson Fury’s next bout will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
There has been speculation of a crossover bout between Ngannou and Fury since the WBC heavyweight champion’s knockout victory over Dillian Whyte in April at Wembley Stadium.
The fight to determine who is the “Baddest Man on the Planet” will take place under professional boxing rules, with three judges ringside using the 10-point must system. Both warriors, on the other hand, promise to meet in the ring, go to battle, and win by knockout in terrible way.
“As soon as that bell rings, it’ll be bombs away!” exclaimed Fury. This man is claimed to be the toughest puncher in the world, but wait till he is struck by the Big GK.
“I can’t wait to get back out there under the spotlights. In an epic encounter with another master of his profession, I’m looking forward to proving to the world that The Gipsy King is the finest fighter of his generation.
“Francis appeared tough after the Whyte fight, but there is no one tougher than me, and you’ll all see that on October 28 in devastating fashion.”
“I’d like to thank my promoters, Frank Warren and Bob Arum, as well as my manager, Spencer Brown, and the Riyadh Season team for helping to make this incredible event a reality. It’ll be a conflict to remember. Get up!”
Fury returns to the ring after a decisive victory over Derek Chisora in December, when a 10th-round stoppage resulted in a third defence of his WBC world title.
“I’ve been waiting for three years to meet Tyson in the ring,” Ngannou added. My desire has always been to box, and to box well.
“After becoming the undisputed MMA heavyweight champion, this is my chance to fulfil that dream and solidify my position as the baddest man on the planet.
“I’d like to thank Riyadh Season and my team at 3Point0 Labs for their assistance in organising this event. All I’ll say to Tyson for now is that he needs to dance in that ring because if I touch him, he’ll fall asleep.”
