Boxing News: In 2023, Adam Azim plans to keep up his rapid ascent.
Azim has boxed five times in the last 12 months, winning each fight with a bang inside the ring.
Azim most recently outperformed himself with a brutally quick stoppage victory over Rylan Charlton.
Azim, managed and trained by Shane McGuigan, hopes to keep performing at that level while moving into the title class the following year.
“We shall see what surprises my team has in store for me. There will undoubtedly be many title fights and title shots in the upcoming year, as well as many more memorable nights,” Azim, informed Sky Sports.
He is only 20 years old right now. By the time he turns 22 years old, Azim hopes to be a world champion, just like his hero Amir Khan.
Azim has received encouragement from Khan, a passionate supporter of the budding actor.
“Amir Khan opened up the sport of boxing to British Asians. He is such a sweet person. I’ve been with you for a long time now,” Azim stated.
“He tells me what he did throughout training, various things to do while training, and what he did when he was younger.
“He’s competed in so many important battles, like [Devon] Alexander and Marcos Maidana, and he can give me advise for the rest of my career,” the fighter said.
