Boxing News: When Adam Azim’s opponents are unable to handle him, his brother must intervene.
Nobody is more adept at managing him than Hassan Azim. The two brothers are being tutored by Shane McGuigan as future professionals. But throughout their amateur days, they trained together, and when sparring, they don’t hold back.
By all reports, Adam Azim has been displaying the devastating form in his workouts in preparation for his match against Santos Reyes on Saturday, which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Hassan Azim said to Sky Sports, “I’ll jump in and we’ll work on stuff when Adam needs sparring and is just blitzing everyone. I know Adam’s weaknesses, and he knows mine. It’s good, then.”
“We have started engaging in more technical sparring through the amateurs simply to assist one another. So, like me, Adam is pleased with the sparring. We sparred frequently and didn’t need anyone else while we were beginners. We were one another.”
Like his brother, Hassan is an undefeated professional, but at welterweight, he competes in a higher division. But Adam Azim is still a nasty puncher.
“Because it sharpens Adam and me, it is quite effective. Adam must be awake and alert as well because I have power and I need him to be. I can’t blink since Adam is swift and sharp, therefore it’s the same for me,” Says Hassan.
“I can withstand his influence, but the hurt comes from the things you can’t see.”
Adam Azim has had a lightning-fast streak of stoppage victories. Even if he thinks Reyes will be able to fight with him for a few more rounds, Hassan anticipates that to continue on Saturday.
The reason for all the stoppages, he claimed, was because the shots were so rapid that people couldn’t see them coming. “Adam is quite quick. So swift and jittery.
“I believe Adam will defeat his adversary, most likely in the third or fourth round. In this duel, Adam Azim will appear a little more frequently. He’s an undefeated fighter, and I know the opponent well enough to know how tough he is.
