Young Fan’s Day: Suvajit Mustafi, a Twitter user, asked Pant to wish his six-year-old kid a happy birthday.
Rishabh Pant, an Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, recently made a young fan’s day by wishing him a happy birthday on February 27. Suvajit Mustafi, a Twitter user, asked Pant to wish his six-year-old kid a happy birthday.
In a video that Mustafi uploaded, his son can be heard saying, “I bat like Rishabh Pant,” as he plays a shot while practising at home. Hello @RishabhPant17,” he wrote along with the video in a tweet. I hope your healing is progressing well. Your greatest supporter is my son Ayan. He desires to be like you and is a fellow left-hander and heart warrior. Since December 30th, he has prayed for your healing. He turns six today. Could you please wish him a happy birthday?
Fortunately for Ayan, the Indian cricketer saw Twitter and sent the young boy his best wishes. Pant posted a special greeting on Twitter with the words, “Happy birthday Ayan. Have a wonderful year.
Pant will be sidelined for a year.
The Indian wicketkeeper-batter is currently making a full recovery from the severe wounds he sustained in a fatal accident in December of last year. The serious nature of Pant’s injuries will probably prevent him from playing for a whole year.
With numerous important events planned for the year, the 25-year-old will be missed by both his IPL team, the Delhi Capitals, and the Indian Cricket team. India will likely compete in the World Test Championship final in June following the conclusion of the IPL, and will then host the ODI World Cup in October-November.
With Pant out of the lineup, the Indian team would have a lot of empty shoes to fill. While Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul filled in for Pant’s absence in ODIs, Srikar Bharat was added as a wicketkeeper-batter for Tests.
