On Twitter, Curtis Woodhouse urged Manchester United to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
The former midfielder of Sheffield United and Birmingham City made the comments on Thursday, when both Tottenham and United were in action.
On Thursday evening, Tottenham played against Bournemouth away from home at Premier League’s Vitality Stadium. The result was a dull and boring goalless draw. So, the chances of Spurs finishing in places in the Champions League have been more or less extinguished.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils enjoyed a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa away from home at Villa. They have maintained their good form so that the side of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now just one point behind fourth-placed Leicester, and is in the running for spots in the Champions League.
Kane is one of the world’s best strikers and there’s no doubt that England’s 26-year-old international would make an instant impact on United.
However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy may not be willing to part with the Englishman even for a summer.
This is because next season he may not be able to bring in an appropriate replacement without any football from the Champions League.
