Diniyar Bilyaletdinov: The forced conscription of men of combat age is one of the most recent steps Putin has taken to maintain momentum in the conflict against Ukraine. In recent days, a large number of adults and children have left Russia. To avoid having to go to the front lines of battle.
According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, 300,000 fresh soldiers have been recruited for the front. Former Russian international Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is one of them.
His father on Sports.ru has acknowledged that his son has got the notification. He stated, “Diniyar was summoned. Since he did not serve, talking about emotions is challenging. Even though he served in the military, his duty was specifically of a sporting nature. This occurred 19 years ago. Yes, he took the oath, but his service was connected to sports.
“The statute stated that anyone up to the age of 35 would be called, but he is 37, so there is some sort of contradiction here. It’s time to determine whether or not this summons is legitimate and wasn’t sent in advance. Anything is possible. There is no need to ask questions, if there was a widespread mobilisation. Everything must comply with the law, the president has only formed a limited one,” he said.
Bilyaletdinov is still active in amateur football despite having already retired from playing professionally. He received 46 times of Russia’s honourable mention, and at the 2008 European Championship in Austria and Switzerland, where he played in five games, three of them as a starter, he excelled.
Diniyar Bilyaletdinov played for teams like Lokomotiv Moscow, Everton, Spartak, Anzhi, Torpedo Moscow, or Rubin Kazan throughout his professional playing career.
