Manchester City is waiting to know the outcome of their appeal against the Champions League ban imposed on them.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has now reported that a final decision will be arrived at in early July.
UEFA banned the club from the European competition for the next two seasons and to fine them with € 30 million after finding them guilty of Financial Fair Play regulations.
City was thus sanctioned in February after they were reported to have performed “serious breaches” of UEFA’s rules on team licenses and financial fair play (FFP) regulations. The champions of the Premier League then attempted to overturn the decision.
CAS said in a recent: “The decision is expected to be issued in the first half of July 2020. The exact date will be known in advance.”
