Despite tension between the two, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has personally blocked Barcelona’s approach to left-back Ryan Sessegnon, according to.
Mourinho wanted the youngster while he was the Manchester United manager. But he was left frustrated and puzzled at how things panned out after the Portuguese finally arrived at Tottenham.
Despite being fully fit, the 20-year-old has failed to make Spurs’ last two match-day squads. Also, he has featured in just six league games since coming from Fulham last summer for £25 million.
