Pep Guardiola makes nice gestures to Manchester City employees. After winning the treble, he decided to make a gesture towards the staff.
Guardiola moves City staff after treble with a beautiful gesture
By winning the Champions League, the Catalan manager was entitled to a hefty bounty. However, according to The Daily Mail, he has waived that bonus. Guardiola moved the club’s employees by donating his wages to them.
According to the British medium, Guardiola was entitled to an amount of around 750,000 euros. However, the coach completely donated this to employees of the club. By donating the amount, Guardiola wanted to make a gesture of gratitude to them. The premium would have been touched by the lucky ones.
According to the newspaper, Guardiola often makes such a gesture to the staff of the clubs where he works. In the past, The Citizens staff has often been able to collect a bonus that was actually intended for the success coach. The Spaniard wants to show with his generous gift that the staff is also part of the success.
Rashford opens up on City’s treble
Marcus Rashford was horrified to see fellow city rivals Manchester City secure the treble last week. “To be honest, that’s not fun, but on the other hand, it’s part of football,” the star player of Manchester United said at the press conference. “The best team that continuously plays the best football wins the most trophies and this year they have won three. We just move on now, it’s up to them to keep going and it’s up to the rest to try and catch up with them.”
Nice gesture from record holder Kane: teammates receive an original gift
Continuing with nice gestures and England internationals, Harry Kane has put the spotlight on England’s players and staff in an original way.
Almost three months ago, Kane set the record for most goals for the national team. Now Kane felt it was time to give back to everyone who contributed to that success. On Twitter it can be seen that his teammates receive a personal message in a list with a gramophone record.
Kane found the net against Italy on March 24 to score his 54th goal for England. He passed Wayne Rooney with that. On Friday evening (against Malta) and Monday evening (against North Macedonia), Kane may be able to further extend his record in the English team’s European Championship qualifying campaign.
