Real Madrid are the second-most influential brand in Spain, trailing only the clothing brand, Zara, who’re first in influence.

A DataCentric study conducted a nation-wide poll to determine which businesses held the most influence among the people of Spain.
And 29.46 per cent of those whom they polled chose Zara. They rated the clothing brand owned by the Inditex Group as the most influential brand in Spain.
Real Madrid came in second in this poll by winning 26.02 per cent of the vote.
Finally, supermarket chain Mercadona placed third for influence within Spain after they received 13.90 per cent of votes.
The nation’s voters in this poll also highly ranked Barcelona, Real Madrid’s domestic rivals and Banco Santander. But either enterprise did not reach the top three among Spanish brands.
On the field, meanwhile, Real Madrid has had a fast start to the season. At the time of writing, they are at the top of the La Liga table.
Most recently, they defeated Mallorca 6-1 at their newly renovated home, the Santiago Bernabeu. Before that, they also secured a victory over Valencia in the Spanish top flight.
As a result, they have surpassed their city rivals and last season’s defending La Liga champions, Atletico Madrid.
Finally, Carlo Ancelotti’s side also defeated Inter in their first Champions League game of the season.
