Neither Roma nor Napoli could find a moment of quality to win the Derby del Sole at Stadio Olimpico. As they played out a goalless draw, they tied for the first time in 9 years playing in the capital. So, among other Serie A football news, Roma and Napoli drew 0-0 at the Olimpico last night.
Luciano Spaletti’s men now top the table with 25 points in 9 Serie A games. And this draw technically extended their unbeaten streak to nine league games.

A delightful reverse pass from Fabian Ruiz allowed Matteo Politano to get to the byline.
He pulled it back to Victor Osimhen but Roger Ibañez and Gianluca Mancini denied the Nigerian striker. Mancini’s block turned the ball onto the post, and Rick Karsdorp went to block Mario Rui’s shot on the rebound.
Having saved his team at one end, Mancini then missed the best opportunity of the match. He flashed a header from a wonderfully-delivered free-kick by Lorenzo Pellegrini but it went wide.
Jose Mourinho and Luciano Spaletti both received red cards in the later stages, ensuring the managers will dominate the headlines.
