Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed an amusing story. Once, Solskjaer refused to review a player in mohawk, that is, because of his hairstyle.
The situation occurred during the Norwegian’s time at Moulde.
The 48-year-old was at Moulde from 2011 to 2014 and from 2015 to 2018. He is now set to stay with United till 2024.
Back then though, Solskjaer refused to review a player in mohawk, just because he was in a mohawk!
“I once went to view a player when I was working in Norway. He came out of the backroom and he had a mohawk,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports. “I just told the scout, ‘Let’s go home, I’m not interested’. It was a very short preview.”
