Jürgen Klopp had years of success with Liverpool, but this season is different. The English top club has long since stopped competing for the prizes. The manager wants to prevent that next season.
Klopp does not want to risk Anfield suffering another lean year, the Daily Mail writes. As soon as the Premier League season is over, the coach immediately plans to let his players get some fresh air. After the last game with Southampton on May 28, the German sends his team on vacation.
Klopp knows how he wants to prevent Liverpool next disaster season
This has everything to do with the redesigned schedule. Klopp and Liverpool have decided to change course and will organize the preparation differently. The preparation for The Reds will start on July 8 and Klopp wants all players to join the group by July 11 at the latest. The selection must be complete as soon as the club travels to Germany for a training camp that day. “Everything should be different next season,” said the success trainer.
It has everything to do with the frustrations of last summer. After an exceptionally good year, the players came in at various times during the preparation. As a result, each player ran their own program and Klopp could never work on his regular formation, says the German. The coach continues, “That is why we have to prepare well for the coming season. We have to get up and get back to the top. Preparation is sorely needed for that.”
“I respect the holidays, they are also necessary,” Klopp continued his argument. “They can leave as long as possible, but we also have to be together again as soon as possible. The eyes are already on next season and I want us to be even.” Only he now expects his players all back at the same time.
Also on the transfer market, the work must be done by July 8, Klopp believes. All sails are being made at Anfield to be able to compete with the best teams in Europe again next year. Incidentally, Liverpool is still playing somewhere this season, because The Reds can still get European football.
