Dan Evans defeated Constant Lestienne in Antwerp with ease, advancing him to the quarterfinals of the European Open.
Evans, the fifth seed, defeated the Frenchman 6-2, 6-1, in just 75 minutes as he pursues his first tour-level victory of the year.
In order to win, the 32-year-old broke five times and won 82% of his first-serve points.
Jack Draper fought valiantly against top seed Hubert Hurkacz of Poland but ultimately lost to the No. 11 player in the world 7-6 (5) 6-7 (5) 6-1.
Cameron Norrie, 27, had a challenging afternoon at the Stockholm Open, but it concluded with his 150th tour-level victory.
Eventually, after an over three-hour battle, he defeated Aslan Karatsev 6-7 (8) 6-3 6-4.
It was a difficult match, Norrie remarked. “He increased his level whenever Aslan was struggling, and he truly snatched that first set from me.
“I had a few set points, but I didn’t use them to my full potential in the tie-break.
“I maintained my composure, and although I became a little frustrated in the third set, I was able to recover. I feel energised and nice.”
